Shannon is a member of the Texas Counseling Association and the American Counseling Association, she is passionate about staying informed of new perspectives and best practices in the profession so that she may provide a high quality of care for her clients. Understanding the courage and vulnerability that seeking therapy requires, she is deeply committed to providing a safe, culturally-responsive, and non-judgmental space for her clients to explore their concerns. Her collaborative, empathic approach to counseling is rooted in person-centered theory, integrating mindfulness and cognitive behavioral techniques to facilitate insight, healing, and growth. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing a wide variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, and difficulty navigating life transitions.
