Meet Denise Miller

Denise is a licensed professional counselor who graduated from Sam Houston State University's Clinical Mental Health Program, She has experience working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, life transitions, peer relationships, self-esteem, LGBTQ communities, career, and trauma.
As a therapist, Denise begins with a person-centered approach to assessing each client's individual needs, using psychoeducation, and teaching coping/grounding skills. She believe in meeting each client where they are and collaborating to help them get from who they are today to becoming who and what you want to be. Denise feel clients can make positive changes in their lives with therapeutic work. Her strengths-based approach to counseling allows clients to explore the past, today, and tomorrow while forging a clear path and instilling hope for their future selves.
